Just because we need to stay home doesn't mean we can't enjoy a delicious meal from one of our favourite neighbourhood restaurants. Here are a few of our favourites to check out in The Village.
Storm Crow Manor
580 Church Street, 3 minute walk
Your favourite Geek-themed restaurant is still open for delivery or take out. Order your favourite menu items Tuesday through Saturday, from 1pm to 8pm. They also have game night packs and make at home kits available, to bring the nerd bar revolution to your doorstep.
Marzitelli Ristorante
555 Church Street, 3 minute walk
This popular Italian restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday 5pm to 9pm. Order food through their website and pickup onsite or receive free delivery on orders over $40. Have a date night with their three course meals at $20 each, plus they have 50% off all wines.
Onnki Donburi
40 Hayden Street, 5 minute walk
Famous for their modern Japanese rice bowls, Onnki Donburi's doors are open for pickup and delivery. They are open Monday to Saturday for lunch from 11:30am to 3pm, and for dinner 5pm to 10pm. You can order in person for takeout or get delivery through Ritual and Uber Eats.
The Diner's Corner
714 Yonge Street, 5 minute walk
With modified hours, The Diner's Corner remains open for takeout. Order your favourite Jamaican and Caribbean dishes Monday to Thursday from 12pm to 9pm or Friday and Saturday from 12pm to 10pm.
7 West Café
7 Charles Street West, 5 minute walk
Open 24 hours, seven days a week, 7 West Café is The Village's go-to restaurant for comfort dining. Call ahead for pickup orders, or request delivery through Uber Eats, Skip the Dishes, and Ritual.
Chick-fil-A
709 Yonge Street, 5 minute walk
Considered to be one of the best fast food chains in North America, Chick-fil-A is still offering a full menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items, as well as soups and sides. The Yonge Street location is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 10pm for takeout or delivery through DoorDash.
Cabano's Comfort Food
75 St. Nicolas Street, 7 minute walk
This sandwich shop serves up delicious chicken and veal sandwiches and beef burgers. They are open Thursday to Sunday from 11:30am to 10pm for pickup orders or delivery is available through UberEats.
